Project Overview: UVTA worked with the Sharon Academy to design and implement a “Trail and Construction Skills” elective. Construction of a 6000’ loop trail throughout the Sharon Academy campus.
Accomplishments:
- 34 class sessions.
- 6000’ hiking trail constructed with TSA students.
- Construction of a 12’ foot bridge.
- Construction of a stone staircase with 18 steps.
- Installation of a kiosk at trailhead.
Total Costs: ~$5000 (including material)
