Trail opening celebration: Adair’s Erratic Trail at Hewes Ravine

Help celebrate the opening of the Hanover Conservency’s newest trail, the Adair’s Erratic Trail at Hewes Ravine! Completed during the summer of 2026 with the help of the Upper Valley Trails Alliance and their High School Trail Corps, the new trail follows a dramatic headwater stream of Hewes Brook, leading to a stunning quartz glacial erratic.
The total return distance for this out and back trail is approximately 1 mile. This relatively flat trail is rated as easy, with an optional short but steep descent to the base of the erratic.
