Tour de Taste: Sunday September 13, 2026
Like to eat? Like to ride?
Join us for the Tour de Taste – a scenic, pedaling picnic through the Connecticut River Valley!
Bring your bike and enjoy autumn’s vibrant foliage at your own pace. Along the way, you’ll meet local food producers and community members at various tasting stops, featuring a delicious harvest bounty from nearby farms and restaurants. The event starts and finishes at Samuel Morey Elementary School in Fairlee VT.
Choose from three thoughtfully planned routes:
Lake Morey Loop (6.9 miles) – great for families and casual riders
Classic Loop (21.1 miles) – our most popular scenic route
River Road Extension (30.7 miles) – perfect for experienced riders seeking a challenge
Your registration includes a detailed route maps and directions, on-road support vehicles, and of course, an incredible menu of locally produced foods at each stop!

🚴♀️ Lake Morey Loop (6.9 miles)
Perfect for families, new cyclists, or anyone looking for a relaxed ride. This easy loop features two short hills, low traffic, and multiple stops where you can rest and enjoy local treats. Be sure to save room for dessert at the end!
🚴 Classic Loop (21.1 miles)
Explore the beautiful Connecticut River Valley with stops in Thetford, Fairlee, Orford, and Lyme. Expect stunning views, tasty stops, and great community vibes.
🚴♂️ River Road Extension (30.7 miles)
Looking for more mileage? This moderate route builds on the Classic Loop with extra distance and hills, plus a bonus stop offering sweeping views of the Connecticut River—well worth the effort!

🚲 Need a bike? Rent an eBike!
No bike? No problem. Rent an eBike from Vermont Bike & Brew—they’ll deliver it to the start line at 10 AM at no extra charge (do not select the delivery option)! Even better, 10% of your rental fee supports UVTA’s programs.
Reserve an “All Day Rental”, for 10:00 AM on Sunday, September 13, then email Jonas@VTBikeandBrew.com to let them know you’re riding the Tour de Taste.

Volunteer! We’re looking for helping hands for all parts of the event. If you’d like to ride and volunteer, sign up using the “Volunteer” ticket type during registration.
