As an organization, the Upper Valley Trails Alliance strives to support Upper Valley towns by advocating for outdoor recreation as a vital form of sustainable economic growth through our programs, projects, events and alliance power.
Our Programs
The Upper Valley High School Trail Corps program completes nearly 50 miles of work on local trails every season. Our Summer Trail Stewards act as an on-call trail crew and each contribute 20+ hours of work on local trails per season. Their work ensures safe access to trails in our Upper Valley communities.
Our Projects
Vermont and New Hampshire are famous for their natural beauty and abundance of beautiful trails. Our projects maintain and create safe trails in our Upper Valley communities.
Our Events
Every year, UVTA hosts annual events that connect visitors and each other to the Upper Valley. The UVTA Tour de Taste promotes more than 45 local businesses and connects ~300 participants to the Upper Valley every year.
