Passport to Winter Fun
Welcome to the Passport to Winter Fun!
What is the Passport to Winter Fun?
The Passport program is an elementary school fitness program that encourages children and their families to remain physically active during New England’s long winter season. Participants track the days on which they have been active for 60 minutes or more of physical activity in their passport, progressing through levels of achievement when they have completed 10, 20 or 30 days of activity within the six-week program period. At each of these achievement milestones, the children receive their choice of a fun incentive prize.
Is my child's school participating?
The Passport to Winter Fun is being offered to 3,600+ students in 26 Upper Valley Elementary Schools this winter. Please check with your school's office to see if your child's school is participating.
What prizes can my child redeem if they complete 10, 20, and 30 days of physical activity?
Inside your child's Passport, there will be a yellow sheet that has a list of all of the businesses offering incentive prizes. When your child reaches 10, 20, and 30 days of activity, they can bring their Passport to one of the businesses to redeem a prize! Please do not visit a location more than once- this puts a strain on the business. Also, make sure to say thank you to these wonderful places that are supporting our local kids!! How do I enter my child into the Grand Prize Raffle?
Fill in the back flap of the Passport and hand it in to your child's school by March 15th, 2017 to be entered into the Grand Prize raffle. You can also mail the back flap directly to the Upper Valley Trails Alliance:
